The problem is, people are too stupid to get this simple fact. Economics are dynamic, not static.

If someone steps up and swings a bat at your head, you move. Especially if you got hit the first time. You don't just stand there and take it over and over. To do so would mean you are oblivious to any and all outside influences. Yet this is what Dems think business people and the rich will do if they increase taxes on them. They think people will just stand there, static.

On another note, using this mentality is how the CBO scores bills, which makes the CBO estimates of the cost of bills meaningless to those of us that understand dynamic economics.
