Professor Obama's Investing 101

Here's a great business model. Start your company with the idea that it's going to go bankrupt. Then, when it folds, inform your investors that the business was a success because it did exactly what you expected.

Who is Barack Obama?
Who is Barack Obama?
Schmutzli Today 06:32 AM
All of this is very interesting, but the fact is Obama is president because he was elected president. It was not the media's job to vet him; it is the voter's job to vet the president or any other candidate. If they don't, why blame the media? Actually, the media is but a bunch of pretty faces with empty heads. There is still the opposition party (which not only didn't vet him, they didn't use his middle name). There is the congress, which is supposed to control him and remove him from office if he commits high crimes and misdemeanors, but does nothing but make excuses and cry. Then there is the educational system. One would have to be brain dead not to see the control the marxists have over the education machine (Bill Ayers was a tenured professor in the Illinois college system, now collecting a healthy pension). No, the fault lies with the citizens who did not want t know. The US government produces nothing, yet is the biggest business in the country. The bureaucracy is permanent, and it is thoroughly corrupt. And the citizens put it in place and enable it every two years by electing or re-electing criminals and charlatans and meekly paying their taxes and supporting both big government and big education. Fools often get exactly what they ask for. Obama is just the end result of decades of corruption in government and acquiescence to it by the public.
Buy 'Made in America' one at a time
ONE AT A TIME
yesterday I was in
Wal Mart looking for a wastebasket. I found some made in
China for $6.99. I didn't want to pay that much so I asked the
lady if they had any others. She took me to another department
and they had some at 2.50 made inUSA . They are just as good.
Same as a kitchen rug I needed. I had to look, but I found some
made in theUSA and they were 3.00 cheaper. We are being
brain washed that everything that comes fromChina andMexico
is cheaper. Not so. That is also why I don't buy cards at Hallmark
anymore. They are made inChina and are expensive. I buy
them at Dollar Tree....50 cents each and made inUSA .
One Light Bulb at a Time
A physics teacher in high school, once told the students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn't slow a train very much, a billion of them would. With that thought in mind, read the following, obviously written by a good American . . ..
Good idea . . .. one light bulb at a time . .. ..
Check this out. I can verify this because I was in Lowe’s the other day and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments... They were all made inChina ..
The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there. They were made in USA . Start looking . . ....
In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job. So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track.. Let's get behind her!
My grandson likes Hershey's candy. I noticed, though, that it is marked made in Mexico now. I do not buy it any more.
My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico ... now I have switched to Crest. You have to read the labels on everything....
This past weekend I was at Kroger . . . I needed 60W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets.
I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off-brand labeled, "EverydayValue." I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats ? they were the same except for the price . . ..
The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the EverydayValue brand was made in - get ready for this - theUSA in a company inCleveland ,Ohio .
So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here...
So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets... yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made inCanada ... The EverydayValue brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!
My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in theUSA - the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!
If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time! Stop buying from overseas companies!
(We should have awakened a decade ago....)
Let's get with the program and help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and create more jobs here in theUSA ..
I passed this on .. .. . will you???

It is no accident that this more tolerant attitude toward personal protection has resulted in a large drop in violent crime in many areas - just as Second Amendment rights advocates predicted all along.

The sun warms in its presence and cools in its absence 20+ degrees daily over the entire earth for the most part.
How does the change of 1 degree caused by anything over a century justify doing any mitigation?

Andrew Jackson: Tea Party President
http://spectator.org/archives/2011/10/07/andrew-jackson-tea-party-presi
Jackson made clear he harbored no impulse toward economic equality or societal leveling. "Distinctions in society," he wrote, "will always exist under every just government. Equality of talents, of education, or of wealth can not be produced by human institutions. In the full enjoyment of the gifts of Heaven and the fruits of superior industry, economy, and virtue, every man is equally entitled to protection by law…" It is worth lingering over these words. Jackson was saying not only that government should not interfere with any citizen's pursuit of wealth, but that it also has an affirmative obligation to protect the rich from elements of envy bent on taking their wealth from them.

Why cut the one agency looking to protect taxpayers from government waste, corruption and fraud?
Because it shows the truth regarding scumbag vote pandering politicians.
